The devastating earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25, 2015 took lives of and injured several thousand people. Hundreds of thousands of Nepalese slept out in tents or in the open. Thousands of schools were severely damaged thus by preventing students from attending their schools. Many students lost their parents. In this respect, YouMe Nepal Trust initiated the Humanity First Project to build temporary learning centers and to provide scholarship to the earthquake victim students. The aim of this project is to help as many students as possible continue their studies. As our resources are limited, we cannot help all the victims. However, we are trying our best to reach out to a large number of students through the generous support we have received from our well-wishers.
